In total, the researchers were involved in about 11 paper presentations. Topics were within innovation, experience quality, gender, food experiences, methodology, cruise, leadership of networks, and sustainable tourism development.

In addition to attending paper session and main speaker session, the conference is an opportunity for networking and meetings. One example of such was a meeting by the interim board involved in establishing an international/Nordic network for experience-oriented researchers.

This is a yearly conference, and a few years ago, Northern Insight hosted it in Bodø/Lofoten. Next year it will be in Falun, but then the Northern Insight project is ended. Still we expect that researchers can be working on papers from the project.
